24th of July Fireworks

Mikayla's Haircut

I gave Mikayla a haircut. She asked me to give her bangs. I have never in my life tried to cut bangs from scratch.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July weekend. Our first surprise was that Troy was able to come home 2 days early on Thursday instead of Saturday! We had him for 4 whole days, it was AWESOME! We had a BBQ with my parents on Saturday and a very laid back Sunday and then on Monday we had our 3rd annual BBQ / water slide party at Grandma and Grandpa Beardall's. (Warning: There are lots of pictures in this post!)

We started water sliding and swimming for the little ones.

We moved to water fights. (one of the kids came after Troy. It was a bad idea.) We sat in the shade and enjoyed the nice weather. We ate!
We then moved on to KICKBALL!
Here are the teams. And some fun action shots. While everyone played and I took pictures Grandma was swarmed by the little ones. And as a special treat Morgan got a ride from Quinn on his Motorcycle. She felt super special.

All in all it was a really great weekend.
