Owen's First Day of Preschool

I wanted to write because I started my new driving route this week. Owen started his first day of preschool. The first day was an open house and the parents come with them and make name tags and have a little tour of the preschool so that the kids will be comfortable when they go without their parents. In the car on the way there Owen asked me if I was going to just drop him off. When I said no, and that I was coming with him he groaned and said "why are you coming?" I guess that we aren't going to have any separation issues. He was relieved when I told him that I wasn't going to stay then next time we came. He loved it and his teacher Mrs. Skousen (that is Julie to those who are family) is great and he is super excited.

Ah the blessed day has come!

My days of "Mom I'm bored are finally over" and my days of the Baxter Taxi Service have begun. You guessed it is school time!!! Mikayla and Morgan started school on Monday and Owen starts preschool next Monday. They all go to seperate schools so that is where the taxi service comes in. We did find someone to carpool with so I only have to pick Mikayla up from school thankfully, and Morgan rides the bus so to be really honest it isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Of course I haven't started to take Owen yet so we will see if it remains "not as bad as I thought". I am super happy though that they finally have something to do. I am really proud of Morgan for being brave and going to school with out her sister. She was a little nervous and wasn't sure she wanted to do it, but she did after a little bit of coaxing from mom and teacher. She is now loving it and loves her new teacher. Also Mikayla went on her first nonfamily babysitting job last night. Am I really that old? The answer to that is of course yes but you don't look it! Have a good one everybody!!!

A couple of fun things to talk about

So I have a couple of things that I have been meaning to talk about. The first was that we went to Lagoon with Troy's family a couple of weeks ago. It was so much fun. Mikayla made a "best friend" in a Dynatronics employee/friend of the Beardall family named Jackie, from Ohio. I don't know if she realized that she was 27 years old. I don't think it would have mattered. We spent the first part of the day going on all the little rides with Owen and his cousins his size/age. After dinner Grandma and Grandpa took the little kids. We took Morgan, Taylor(cousin) and Mikayla on all the roller coasters. Morgan didn't realize that she would enjoy it until it was over. The people standing in line felt so bad for her as we pulled away in the Jetstar because she was bawling.
She got over it and LOVED the White roller coaster which was next. Mikayla and Taylor were like fish in water and wanted to go on all the rides. We loved spending the time with Troy's family. It was really fun. Thank You again Grandma and Grandpa Beardall!!!!

Ok the next thing to talk about is that I just went on my annual Frost Girls Getaway. This year Nicknamed FAR (inside joke and I will not be filling you in on that). It was really simple this year. My sister Kaci flew in from Texas and we spent a weekend up in Park City shopping and sleeping in and laughing our heads off. I took my camera in hopes that I would take a ton of pictures. But even if I had they would probably be too embarrassing to show anybody. Anyway, it is always nice to leave the kids with Dad and enjoying a little bit of Mom time. I always come back liking every one more. And Troy gets to live in my world for a moment. I want to thank Cynthia and Mike for letting us use the condo and Troy for making it possible for me to go. I can't wait until next year!!!!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!

I wanted to write today because it is our 12th anniversary. I am so grateful and feel so lucky that I have been able to spend these 12 years with Troy. We have had our share of hard times, but we got through those with flying colors and we did it together. He is the most wonderful man I have ever met. He always thinks of me (even though I accuse him of doing otherwise). I know that my happiness is what is most important to him. I hope he knows that I feel the same about him. I am grateful to him for putting up with my "femaleness" and what that brings along with it. I know how lucky I am to have him for eternity. I can't wait to see what the future brings because good or bad I know that we can do it and enjoy it together!!!!! I love you honey!!!! Happy Anniversary!!!!!
