Every year on facebook I see people saying what they are thankful for everyday in November. I didn't like the idea of doing it on facebook so I made a list and posted to it everyday. I thought I would post it here.
Thankful Project 2011
1.
I am
thankful for my beautiful children who try my patients and yet bring me joy
every single day
2.
I am
thankful for my sweet husband who would go to the moon and back again if I
asked, whether he wanted to or not.
3.
I am
thankful for my home. It’s not a castle
or anything but it’s my castle!
4.
I am
grateful for amazing friends!
5.
I am
thankful for technology that keeps me connected with people that I would
probably never be able to talk again without it.
6.
I am
thankful for the priesthood and for priesthood blessing.
7.
I am
grateful that I got to see Wyatt Blessed.
Sweetest blessing ever
8.
I am
grateful for my savior and for his sacrifice for me.
9.
I am
thankful for my parents. I don’t know
anyone who had a better childhood then me.
We didn’t have a lot but we had each other
10.
I am
grateful for my brother and sisters. We
still love hanging out together. There
aren’t a lot of siblings who can say that.
11.
I am
grateful to be able to see. I am
grateful for the technology to make it so I can see!
12.
I am
grateful for the veterans like Grandpa Owens that fight and have fought for me
and my country. There are no greater
heroes then those brave men and women.
13.
I am
grateful for an amazing ward and neighborhood.
I am so grateful that we were lead by the spirit to live here
14.
I am
grateful for the opportunity I have had to be a mother. I have always known it was what I wanted to
be, and I love it!
15.
I am
grateful for music. For the ability it
has to change my mood instantly. I love
to dance around my living room with my kids and act silly with music in the
background.
16.
I am
grateful I have for the ability I have to sing.
It is one of my favorite things to do.
Sometimes I wish I could do it more but that would mean having to do in
front of people so I guess I will just have to keep it to myself.
17.
I am
grateful for my washing machine so that I don’t have to go to the river to wash
all the clothes we wear! You never think
about how amazingly easy we have it compared to those who came before us.
18.
I am
grateful for eternal marriage. I am
grateful that I know I can be with my sweetheart and my family forever.
19.
I am
grateful for (I know this will look bad but. . . ) the TV, Movies, and video
games, and bored games. I know too much
is a bad thing but it is fun entertainment and it even can bring us all together
to do something fun.
20.
I am
grateful for the opportunity to sit with my whole family around the dinner
table when Troy is in town. I love to
listen to the kids talk about their day and what they think is funny. I will miss that the most when they all
decide to move away.
21.
I am
grateful for the opportunity my kids have to get to know their grandparents I
only knew mine until I was 7 and my other grandparents lived across the country
and died when I was 16 so I never really knew them at all. I love to watch them get spoiled by their
grandparents.
22.
I am
grateful for my dishwasher. I hate
washing dishes so having something that will do it for me is an amazing thing!
23.
I am
grateful for Troy’s company. He has
loved working for them and for the most part they are a great company to work
for.
24.
I am
grateful for food and for the fact that I get to try new things and learn I
love things I never thought I would.
25.
I am
thankful for freedom. I don’t know if I
could live without it.
26.
I am
thankful for children’s laughter. There
is nothing in the world that is better.
27.
I am thankful for the kindness of others. There were times in my life where I relied
very heavily on the kindness of others.
I would be in a very different place without it.
28.
I am
thankful for the scriptures. I know that
they are the word of God.
29.
I am
thankful for the prophet. I know that he
speaks the things that my father in heaven wants me to hear.
30.
I am
thankful, getting down to the heart of it, family, friends, food and a warm
safe bed.
