Well yet again I waited another month to blog. I would love to tell you that it was because it was a busy month, which it was. Or that I just couldn't find the time, which I really didn't have any of. Those are great excuses! None of it is true though. I just haven't been in the mood at all. I wasn't excited for Christmas this year. I just didn't want to deal with all of the emotions and the stress that I knew would accompany this (usually my favorite) holiday. I basically trudged through all of the usual things. This year was not only tough because it is the first without my dad, who was the Christmas king!!! But all of the things that we usually did we didn't do anymore. We didn't have Christmas eve with the Frost family, we didn't go see the lights, we didn't even spend Christmas eve, or Christmas with family at all. Ok that's not fair my mom and brother stayed with us on Christmas eve and were here for presents on Christmas morning. What I meant was I didn't get to see my cousins or nieces or nephews or my sisters. It was pretty stinktastic! And to put a nice big cherry on top of the already stinky Christmas we also had the flu and pink eye running through our house. All of you that are super jealous I am sorry I just had to write it anyway. So here are the few pictures that I did take of our festivities.
Christmas program at school
Morgan's class sang Melekalikimaka, and Happy Christmas (war is over) the John Lennon song
Owen was home sick with the flu. (poor kid!)
Samuel's class sang Rudolph the red nosed reindeer and Chocolate in my stocking
Christmas Bunco! So much fun! There was an ugly Christmas sweater contest and we forgot to judge because we were having too much fun! But here we are in all our glory!
at 11:30 we decided we needed some ihop!
Mikayla turned 15! I tried really hard to convince her it wasn't a good idea but she still did it anyway!
We decorated cookies! Sam has pink eye so nobody ate anything he touched!
The rest of the crew avoiding Samuel.
Some of the creations

Owen got tons of legos, a wii game and of course 3 new pairs of pajamas

Samuel got beyblades, a new wii game and new slippers!
Grandma and Grandpa Beardall came to visit and brought more presents, (Morgan has pink eye at this point so everyone is now avoiding her unless they have already had it)
legos

Evan got a little bit of help with a down payment on a house.
